Relax in "King Laurin's Realm"


The central position of the Residence in the village makes all distances short. Shopping facilities, restaurants, takeaways, cafés, pharmacy, a laundry, an open-air swimming pool, sporting facilities, resting spots, tourist office, travel agency, taxi-stand, bus-station, etc. are all within a short walk from our house.

Several signposted walks will take you wandering, straight from our place along the many fields and meadows and through dense pine forests which surround our village. Also officially marked climbing paths will take you up to the heights of the "Rosengarten" and "Latemar" mountain ranges with breath-taking views over the Dolomites and Tyrolean Alps.

As from 2014 you will be able to reach the mountains also by a new cabin-lift whose starting station lies just 5 min from our doors. And a "mobilcard" will entitle you to many excellent bus-services for touring the countryside and/or sightseeing in town, as you may wish.

Winter holiday at "Carezza Ski"

During wintertime, a ski-bus is available practically at our doors to take you in a short ride straight up to the heart of the "Carezza" skiing area, to the many skilifts and chairlifts servicing the slopes under the "Rosengarten" and "Latemar" mountain ranges .

Also, as from the 2013-14 winter season, the new "Laurin"cabin-lift will be able to take you directly from the village, starting 200m walk from our house, up to the skiing slopes under the "Rosengarten" range.

And in reverse, at the end of the day, you can be brave and ski from the top station of the Laurin lift, on a 7 km run, directly down to its starting point in the village. Or else, you choose to go home the comfortable way and take the ski-bus or the cabin-lift back to the village.

And at the end of the day, when you return from your excursions, what better to do than relaxing in the Residence's sauna.

Moreover, by car you can reach the nearby "Obereggen" ski-slopes in no time at all and also easily get to other skiing grounds, such as "Fleimstal" or the renowned "Sellaronda", for a day's outing. You won't be short of choices!

A great place, 1200 m above sea level, to spend an enjoyable, unrestrained and adventurous holiday in South Tyrol. At 20 minutes drive from Bolzano town, up through the tunnels and gorges of the "Eggental" valley, the gateway to the "Dolomiti" mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
