Folgaria and the high plateau

Folgaria is a beautiful high plateau located in the South-East Trentino at 20 km from the city of Rovereto and 28 km from Trento. It is a popular summer and winter resort, situated at the foot of Mount Cornetto at 1168 m and behind it there is the Vigolana group (2150 m), on the right bank of the Rio Cavallo, torrent that descends to the homonymous valley down to Calliano. Equipped with sports and hosting facilities of recent construction (golf course, ice rink, sports hall with indoor pool and gym, soccer/tennis/bowling courts), it is also an established ski resort: the winter sector, among the most important of the Trentino, employs 80 km of slopes equipped with ski lifts and last generation snow-making equipment.

Surrounded by meadows and woods that climb up to the 2,050 metres of Mount Cornetto, in absolute tranquillity and just 200 metres from the central square of Folgaria in Trentino.
