Sarnthein, the major village of Sarntal, is well worth a visit. At the end of the day, you can unwind in our restaurant and rejoice in a fine glass of wine and the delicacies prepared by our head chef Florian.

For the past 30 years, the hotel was managed by family Rizzi. Since March 2012 we, family Göller, welcome you here. This change in management has brought about a new flair and some interesting changes. The adjacent residence is still managed today by family Rizzi.

Our restaurant

Traditional cuisine with a touch of internationality defines our restaurant „Zum Weißen Rössl“.

In the morning a rich breakfast buffet awaits you: croissants, a selection of various breads, cheese, cold cuts, fruit salad, yoghurt, muesli...

At lunch and dinner our head chef Florian surprises you with fresh traditional dishes from Sarntal. In July and August the kitchen is open every day. Then you can enjoy our weekly organised grill evenings featuring live music.

Enjoy a delicious bowl of ice cream or coffee and cake surrounded by our fantastic garden with sunbathing lawn, canvas chairs and children’s playground. We offer our guests daily a great variety of freshly baked pizza: upon request with spelt, wholemeal or kamut flour. Particularly noteworthy is our new pizza-service delivering pizza in the weekends.

It is our mission to make you feel well. Especially motor bikers appreciate our hotel as the ideal starting point for diverse tours. Pick up a free motor-bike roadmap at reception and park your bike in the yard behind our house.

Welcome to our Residence and room rental!

We are located in the heart of Sarntal only 20 kilometres from Bolzano-Bozen, offering an ideal starting point for various walks and excursions. Our family-friendly guesthouse was redone completely a few years ago.

Relax in our comfortably decorated rooms with shower, toilet, telephone and Sat-TV. We offer 6 rooms, 3 of them with balcony. Breakfast and dinner is served in the adjacent guesthouse „Zum Weißen Rössl“. Behind the house you find a lawn for sunbathing and a children’s playground; here you can relax and play. Furthermore we offer mountain bikes for rent and a large parking place for our guests. For a small fee you can park your vehicle in the garage.

In winter a ski-bus stops nearby, bringing you to the ski-resort Reinswald, situated in 7 kilometres distance. After an adventurous day in the snow, you can store your ski equipment in our ski-room.

Our hotel „Zum Weißen Rössl“ (white steed) is located in the centre of Sarntal, embedded amidst spectacular mountains. The traditional guesthouse is ideal for families with children and all those looking for relaxation and peace.
