With this very special event under the folkloric flavor, you can go back and relive the splendors of the Habsburg court at the carnival. The famous tourist resort of the Trentino Dolomites, Madonna di Campiglio comes alive during this period, offering the opportunity to all its guests to relive the deepest emotions of the legendary Hapsburg Carnival.
For the occasion it will be possible to hire a costume and enter in the fabulous Court of Franz Josef and the gorgeous Princess Sissi.
The presence in Madonna di Campiglio of Sissi, the Empress Elizabeth of Austria, is historically documented since she stayed there on holiday both in 1889 and in 1894. In fact, towards the end of the nineteenth century, Madonna di Campiglio became one of the places frequented assiduously by both the Habsburg and Europeanaristocracy.
It is, undoubtedly, positioned in landscape of great value. This famous ski resort, at an altitude of nearly sixteen hundred meters, is surrounded by an amazing natural view, where the Alps of the Presanella stand out, the Adamello Alps and the Brenta Dolomites.
